The Pantry (Kangaroo Express)
Client Background: The Pantry is the leading convenience store operator in the southeastern United States. They have more than 1,550 locations in 13 states. Kangaroo Express, which is the Company’s primary operating banner, is a leader in convenience store innovation, competitive fuel offers, and carwash services.
Situation: The Pantry initiated a program to implement a co-branded image at sites where both Kangaroo Express convenience store and the Marathon fuel offer was featured. Centerline was on the short list of contractors selected to execute the work.
Centerline Solution: Initially, all sites were surveyed to collect site specific data for local code compliance, material planning, and required installation resources. While all sites included Marathon petroleum and Kangaroo Express convenience stores, no two sites were the same.
Centerline assisted with some of the development and production of graphics installed at select conversion sites, utilizing our versatile graphics department. From there, Centerline managed the on-site application of materials at these select sites, and worked closely with The Pantry to convey real time site specific progress and completion dates. Centerline completed 20 Kangaroo Express/Marathon sites for The Pantry, some of which included the carwash branding of “Washaroo.”
